Large Format tile installation on a ceiling!

The owner of this home ( Dana ) found on my youtube channel ( Dtileandremodeling )

She seen a video I uploaded for a project I did on a ceiling with these giant 24”x48” porcelain tile

Dana is a DIYER and very skilled I must admit.

Once she watched the video she realized is was more than she can handle, she decided to reach out to me a pro tile installer.

She decied to hire me Donnie D. with Donnie D’s Tile & Remodeling LLC located in spotswood NJ

I demoed the current ceiling and did what was required to bring the ceiling and floor to industry standards.

I then set the tile by applying the mortar to the substrate and back of tile to insure good mortar coverage.

Once the tile was where. I needed it to be, I used a lippage tuning system ( MLT ) to clamp the tile to ensure the tiles will stat flat or level with each other you can say.

Dana supplied me with a beautiful Italian porcelain tile.
